CUTN Admission 2022-2023

The admission to all the courses will be the basis of the CUCET exam. Exam for Integrated/UG/PG programs will be in offline mode while Exam for Research programs will be in offline mode

UG Admission: For UG and integrated courses, candidates need to have passed at the 10+2 level in the relevant stream with 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Selection will be based on merit scored in CUCET

PG Admission: Candidates must have done Bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream with at least 55% marks. Selection will be based upon the candidate’s performance in CUCET

Ph.D. Admission: For Ph.D. admission, a Master’s degree in the relevant stream with at least 55% marks is the basic requirement. The selection will be done based on CUCET as well as a personal interview. Those having a valid score in NET / JRF / GATE will be exempted from this test.

Central University of Tamil Nadu admission for UG courses has been started on 06 April 2022, and the deadline for applying to get admission to the UG courses is 31 May 2022. The scores of applicants in the CUET 2022 entrance exam will be considered the basis for allotting admission to UG courses like BSc Textiles, BSc Technical Textiles, etc. Central University of Tamil Nadu Admission 2022-23 for UG courses Last Date is 31 May 2022.

• BPA (Music): BPA stands for  Bachelor of Performing Arts. It is a professional-level course that majorly deals with the study of entertainments, folk drama and other related education. The duration of the course is 4 years. After completing the 10+2 level education with a minimum of 50% of marks can apply for BPA admission in the Central University of Tamil Nadu. The university offers  5 % of relaxation to OBC students.
• BSc: Bachelor of Science at CUTN is available in majorly two subjects (Textiles & Technical textiles). The duration of these programs is three years. The requirement to get into these programs, one must score 55% plus two examinations. Five per cent exemption is given to the reserved category.
