பழமொழி ஒரு எளிய, உறுதியான, பாரம்பரியமானது பொது அறிவு அல்லது அனுபவத்தின் அடிப்படையில் ஒரு உண்மையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.பழமொழிகள் பெரும்பாலும் உருவகம் மற்றும் சூத்திர மொழியைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றன.
