Yash starrer KGF 2 is breaking records everyday at the Box Office. The film opened to massive numbers last week and continues to gain tremendously in its first week as well. Directed by Prashant Neel, the film has made the viewers notice the power of a mass entertainer and has justified the craze around its presence in theatres.

KGF: Chapter 2 has already crossed a whopping Rs 500 crore at the Box Office worldwide. With the pace it has set for itself at the ticket window, seems like crossing Rs 1000 crore would be a cakewalk now. After its first weekend at the Box Office – four days, the film stands at Rs 551.83 crore worldwide with Rs 42 crore from Tamil Nadu alone.

• With earnings of ₹645 crore (US$85 million) globally, K.G.F: Chapter 2 is the seventh highest-grossing Indian film of all time.
• First Indian Film sold to top three OTT streaming platform including Amazon Prime, Zee5 and Sony
• KGF 2 is the biggest opener of all time in Hindi: The Hindi version of KGF: Chapter 2 has beaten the likes of War, Tiger Zinda Hai, Sanju and Dangal to emerge as the biggest opener of all time in India. The film collected Rs 53.95 crore nett on its first day at the ticket window, surpassing Baahubali: The Conclusion and other biggies at the Box Office in terms of the opening day business. • KGF 2 is the first movie from the Kannada film industry to enter cross Rs 500 crore mark at the Box Office: The Yash starrer is the first film from Sandalwood to have crossed Rs 500 crore club worldwide. Before KGF 2, no other film achieved this feat at the Box Office.
• KGF: Chapter 2 gets the highest opening weekend of all time: The Prashanth Neel-directorial has wrapped up its first weekend with Rs 551 crore which is the highest opening weekend of all time when it comes to comparing Indian films. The other movies on the list are Baahubali: The Conclusion, Dangal, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Sanju among others.
• K.G.F: Chapter 2 was theatrically released in India on 14 April 2022 in Kannada, along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.

KGF: Chapter 2 OTT Release

1. Zee Network acquired the satellite rights of the Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions.
2. Sony Max acquired the satellite rights of the Hindi version.
3. The film’s digital streaming rights are sold to Amazon Prime Video for all five languages

KGF Box Office Records Day 1 – Day 6

Day 1:- K.G.F: Chapter 2 collected ₹164 crore (US$22 million) worldwide on the first day of its release.

Day 2: On its second day, the film collected ₹122 crore (US$16 million) worldwide for a two-day total of ₹286 crore (US$38 million), surpassing K.G.F: Chapter 1‘s lifetime gross of ₹250 crore (equivalent to ₹284 crore or US$37 million in 2020), and took its place as the highest-grossing Kannada film of all time. 

Day 3: On its third day, the film estimatedly collected ₹104 crore (US$14 million) worldwide for a three-day total of ₹390 crore (US$51 million). 

Day 4: On the fourth day of its release, the film crossed 552 crore mark at the worldwide box office. 

Day 5: On the fifth day of its release, the film grossed more than ₹625 crore (US$82 million) worldwide. 

Day 6: Collections on the sixth day stood at ₹645 crore (US$85 million), making it the seventh highest-grossing Indian film worldwide.
