The Kamal Haasan film has emerged the highest grossing Tamil film of the year by going past the collections of Thala Ajith’s Valimai and Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast. At the end of the second weekend after release of Vikram in Theatres, the collections of Vikram in Tamil Nadu stands at Rs. 135 crores.
Vikram Collection: Kamal Haasan’s film breaches ₹300 cr club worldwide. Vikram box office: Kamal Haasan’s Tamil film has crossed ₹300 crore worldwide, with $2.5 million coming from the US. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya.
Vikram has crossed $2.5 million at the US Box Office. The film is expected to surpass Rajinikanth’s Petta and Kabali at the US box office. Vikram is heading to become the all-time second-highest grosser in Tamil Nadu and Kamal Haasan is extremely happy about the massive success of Vikram.

According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, Vikram minted Rs 250 crore at the box office worldwide.
His tweet reads, “2022 Tamil Rs 150+ cr club – #Beast. Rs 200+ cr club – #Valimai. Rs 250+ cr club – #Vikram (sic).”
The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Apart from Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil are seen in the lead roles, while Suriya plays a cameo in Vikram.
The film, which has been dubbed and released in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam, features Kamal Haasan in a role he originally played in the 1986 film of the same name. He returns as former agent Vikram of the coveted Black Squad which used to work for the Indian government. Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj will reunite for the next part in the Vikram franchise next year.
